Well, today I upped everything to 50 reps. I tried to do the pistol squats... FUHGETABAHDIT! anyway, my usual routine is starting to come to fruition, and it's getting easier to do. And I find it easier in the mornings. Tell you what isn't as easy... eating right.-Not just what you eat, but how much, and I seem to be eating more than I really need. seems this society (America) is too focused on food and especially protein. As if vegetarians can't get enough of it, but I beg to defer, if they eat right vegetarians can get plenty of protein. But I'm not suggesting any kind of diet, except healthy, lean meat, fresh fruit and veggies, unprocessed foods, to me that's all that matters. But even if I'm eating relatively healthy, am I eating too much? Probably. Need more water and less boredom! I'm rambling. If you want a blog of nonsensical rambling here's a good one... http://aprilcompo.blogspot.com/
So my routine so far includes the following: pushups, situps, squats, and jumping jacks. And of course, stretching. right now I do 50 of each and later I will up to 60, and eventually find a way to do pullups, it's not much but again, I'm lazy and need slow progression, which I think is important for anyone not accustomed to regular exercise. Just start out slow and slowly push yourself, there's really no excuse.
I did 44 pushups and my arms gave out, so I had to do 6 little wimpy ones to finish.
Also since it's Day 10 (but kinda day 7 since I was sick) here's a new photo. 'bout the same as Day 1 eh

Day Seven and Eight: Defeat and Disease
Well, I didn't have a good first week. day two was ok, only did half my goal of 4 reps of 10 of everything I mentioned previously. But I did manage to get in a blazing 10 minute casual walk in the blistering cold. (I live in Colorado).
Something about doing physical activity after festering for a year (I am unemployed at the moment unless you consider internet trolling a job, I'm part time) anyway, I digress, suddenly doing something after being lazy and eating bad seems to put the body in shock and on day three I got sick. So for three days I did nothing but sleep and blow my nose. Sunday We were invited to Dinner for Lasagna...
Suffice it to say I ate a months worth of calories in 30 minutes then took an extended afternoon nap. I'm pretty sure if I had a personal trainer and I told him all that like some kind of confession booth I'd be excommunicated and he himself would be stumbled and leave and disown the strenght synagogue..."I'M SORRY FATHER FITNESS FOR I HAVE SINNED...AND I LIKED IT!!!!"

continuing on... I did manage to pick it back up on day seven (Monday) 40 squats 40 pushups 40 situps some backwards pushup thingies (don't know what they're called) and today I did the same and added 20 lunges but my arms gave out at 30 pushups hmm might have to alternate days. I thing they recommend that anyway right? I don't know I'm not Googling nothing! I'm just gonna keep making this crap up and see if it works. Also, because it's butt cold outside I'm not going out for nothing. so for cardio I did 50 jumping jacks, my right arm pulled a muscle on 38. Until next time.

Day One: Whoops, Burgers and Fries
Today I am starting a 100 day program of exercise, I plan to break a sweat each day and push myself a little more every few days, it will be different from time to time, but the idea is to do some exercise for at least 30 minutes every day-no breaks. Not too vigorously at first because (as indicated by the title) I'm lazy...It should also be noted that this is a blog tracking my progress for 100 days and not a workout plan or regimen. I occasionally watch a YouTube tutorial but I am not endorsing anyone one or any program or diet, they all have something to offer if you want to go there for ideas.
So here it goes...Day 1 January 21, 2014 C.E.
I didn't start off too good this morning, (too many G&T's last night). That's ok I'm gonna power through and without coffee, even though caffeine can give you energy and alertness, before a workout I wouldn't recommend it. any caffeine drink especially hot coffee when I do something physical makes me all hot and itchy and short of breath, it's weird. But I assume it happens to others as well.
Next I have to pick some Gangsta Rap to get me in the mood for working out... Turns out Gangsta Rap is pretty vulgar, gonna have to switch to Techno or Heavy Metal (I have kids)
I started today real light, (I've been pretty stagnant for the past year-pretty much a sloth on a strict diet of Breakfast Burritos and Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer) just some stretches. then 40 squats 40 pushups (not all at once good god) and 40 situps. not quite ready to handle progression moves just yet, or diamond pushups or pullups of any kind, plus I don't have a pullup/chinup bar, gonna have to go find a tree branch. gonna finish with a short walk and I think thats good for day one. My hunger is ravenous. Unfortunately I caved and got burgers and fries with the Family. this is a sad start indeed as I plan to eat healthier in addition to working out-more veggies, less fast food and processed packaged foods, that's about it. Man I'm already failing!!! the short walk BTW, didn't happen
Well that's it for Day one, all and all I feel triumphant... and fat
